Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Training Course
We are pleased to offer the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course. Participants must be licensed RNs with six months of oncology nursing experience. All content will be based on the new ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Guidelines providing a comprehensive review
of the knowledge needed to administer cytotoxic and biotherapeutic agents. Upon successful completion of the course and post-test, participants will receive an ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card which is valid for two years. This card validates the participant has the theoretical foundation needed to administer cytotoxic and biotherapeutic agents. This is not a certification course; individual institutions are responsible for determining their own requirements based on internal policies for assessing clinical competency in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.
Prerequisite: Six months of oncology nursing experience
